I am the fiery windstorm seething, Throwing sand and stone in your eyes. "It is not over there, it is here! See and beware." I am the icy whisper, breathing, "Know you stand alone?" in your ears. "It is not over there. Listen, hear Me and take care!" I am the boom of sky thunder, The sound that you hear, Inside the room, you lie under The ground that you fear. "It is not over there, it is here! See and beware." I am the brushed velvet and The hush of sweet breath. The scent of crushed violet and The brush of sweet death. "It is not over there. Listen, hear Me and take care!" I am the wind. I am the fire. The dust and the ashes, The muck and the mire. I am all things you fear, I am all you desire. Please listen to me, Please listen and hear, That whatever you see, Was forever right here. Dedicated to Love Almost Missed. © 2007 Charles M. Baker III |
