my first radio interview

My Picture
With my first radio interview scheduled for 8:30 a.m. on October 25th, I spent much of the preceding afternoon pulling together notes and information about questions that I thought the interviewer might ask. Along with that I invested in a new phone and headset that would leave my hands free to find information quickly. I hoped I had everything I needed. The Troy Neff Radio Show is aired in the Toledo, Ohio area on WCWA radio, 1230 on the AM dial. His web site says, and I quote, “The Troy Neff Show truly is a radio alternative for Toledo. Of course we cover the normal every day topics ranging from local politics and news, to national topics and sports. We also give you what no one else comes close to giving you; things that you actually care about.” So with just that to go on, I wasn’t sure what to expect. Then, later that evening I got a phone call from one of the production assistants saying the interview would have to be rescheduled as Troy Neff had been called away. A week passed and when I didn’t hear from them, I sent an email off saying I was still available. Unfortunately, as of today, I still haven’t heard from them. So my first radio interview wasn’t!
