When John Kerry told the American public that if he became President he was going to tax the rich, I considered his promise. It didn’t bother me any. I figured those overpaid corporate and Wall Streets cats could use a little taxing with their overblown salaries. I then considered the Hollywood types. You mostly find a bunch of liberals there anyways. Go ahead and tax the hell out of Martin Sheen, Brad Pitt, Sean Penn and especially that Paris Hilton chick. Then go after those overpaid athletes. Just because you can dunk a ball shouldn’t earn you millions. Get Kobe Bryant good…and the A-Rod character. I hate the Lakers and the Yankees.
Now, when every Democratic candidate promising a “pie in the shy” of social programs, Hillary Clinton has the mother-load of them all with her Universal Socialized Health Care Program or Hillarycare, as it is often referred to. With 49 million uninsured in America that program promise translates to a lot of votes. When the Clinton campaign was asked how the program would be funded, the reply was the standard, “tax the rich.” “So who are these rich people?” According to a Clinton spokesperson, “Those making better that $200,000. per year.”
Now where talking about the joint income of your local High School Principal and his part time Realtor wife, two married middle level Managers, a Broker who has had a good year, most doctors who have spent up to 14 years in extra education and may be saddled with a huge student loan, many local small business owners, a construction worker who worked a lot of overtime last year and many Americans who gave it the extra effort to rise above the crowd and get a piece of the American dream. They have been targeted to pay for the free health care services of their fellow uninsured Americans. Aren’t they lucky?
But don’t stop there. Everyone knows the rich can afford expert tax assistance to dodge these taxes and do cleaver things like turning them selves into a Cayman Island corporation or putting their assets into shipping and registering in Panama. They could put a cross on their house and hold services once a week and call themselves a church; open their living room and let people look at the pictures their kid painted in kindergarten and call them selves an art museum. (JP Getty and WR Hurst used this trick to dodge taxes.)
So now the government needs more money for this complete revamping of our health care system which has proven much more expensive that originally forecasted (remember Medicare) and they will eventually lower the level at which people are taxed for being rich. First it will be $100,000 per year then $50,000 per year until the reach the level where they are taxing the very people who they are providing with free health care. Then it becomes like a snake eating its tail. There will be nothing left.
But when this scenario proves true and it more than likely will, you can look forward to being considered rich by the government. Did you ever think you could become one of the rich of this nation without ever having to earn a lot of money or being born with a silver spoon in your mouth? Just vote for Hillarycare and it could happen to you. Don’t believe 99% of what any politician tells you. They have been trained to lie (they have renamed it spin) by professionals.
