We also offer Exploring North America programs highlighting the scenic wonders of Northern Arizona and the Southwest.
Serviceprograms are offered in conjunction with Mexican Hat Elementary School, Monument Valley High School, Cameron Elementary School and Tuba City Intermediate School.
Our popular summer Intergenerationalprograms provide excellent opportunities for grandparents and grandchildren to spend quality time together.
For the hostelers that enjoy the Active Outdoors we have many great programs that will explore the area by foot, boat, raft, kayak or bicycle.
Our Applied and Performing Artsprograms will unleash your artistic talents, provide inspiration, and tickle your senses while surrounded by the magical landscape of Sedona or the Grand Canyon.
Depending on which NAU program(s) you choose, you may find yourself in an authentic turn-of-the century trading post, walking along the south rim of the Grand Canyon, or enjoying the spectacular view of Lake Powell and Rainbow Bridge by boat. Relive a page of history as you travel aboard a restored train to the Grand Canyon or relax in view of awesome Monument Valley while listening to a Navajo explain the origins of their sacred medicine. Ancient Indian sites such as Chaco Canyon and Mesa Verde, Sedona red rock country, dinosaur tracks, archaeological digs, and much more await the adventurous hosteler at NAU.
