Well, after lots and lots of thinking and getting my mind into it's right frame (whatever that is) I joined Weight Watchers today. Big task ahead of me. But I'm ready. I think I'm truly ready. I joined WW many moons ago and over the years, just ignored everything I had learned and put all the weight back on (plus some extra of course). So now it's time I concentrate on me and get back to feeling good about myself and do it in a healthy way.
So I have a long road ahead, but I can do this. My biggest defeat is exercising - although I do work on the second floor and I'm up and down those stairs dozens of times a day, I need to do more and I know my self-motivation for that is practically nil. But for now, I'm just going to concentrate on what goes into my mouth. I'm not a big eater and definitely not a snacker, so it's mainly 'what' I eat. To me, carbs IS a food group in itself! But now I have to stick to the good carbs.
What have I done? Naw, I'm really excited about this journey, it will take time, but, hey, hopefully in God's great scheme of things, I've got plenty of time on my side.
Amazing what your mind can do.....amazes me everyday.
