Lovely, the ice has just finished melting off the streets and now we've got four inches of snow with no sign of it letting up anytime soon to take the place of the ice. Ya gotta love it. Did I mention that even though Kansas City, Missouri charges an outrageous municipal tax, we're lucky if they get around to cleaning side streets? Yep. It's true. We had freezing rain and sleet that started last Friday morning. Sometime Sunday, I noticed a pickup with a blade running down the center of the street. That was it - one pass on the center of the street, cuz Lord knows that's where we all drive. About 15 minutes later, the freezing rain hit - you guessed it - no sign of the pickup after that. Go figger.
Well, it makes getting to work a real challenge.
