KK: Remember when The Ancient One said “Let's move my couch three inches to the left?" Boy was SHE naive! Doesn’t she know what we’re capable of? She’s the one who gave us the design gene the placement DNA and the control issues! SalGal: Also our love of vodka compulsion for making Hollandaise Sauce and inability to leave the house without painting our toenails red. But be that as it may the stage must be reset and reinvented to meet the demands of hiding cat throw-up and red wine stains on the living room carpet. It’s a domino effect though….move one thing and you’re screwed. KK: I'm all about the CHI (now that I know what it is) and ya gotta keep the chi moving clear things out move them around or your physical atmosphere will leave you stuck like glue to the sameness of it all. When we reinvent a room we've got immediate physical feedback of our handiwork that makes us feel pretty dern good about ourselves don’t we Sal? Of course when our friends come over sometimes they forget that the chair is no longer in its usual spot and wind up parked on the floor by accident. SalGal: Hahaha!! LOL! That was really funny when Pam missed the couch and landed on her fanny without spilling a drop of her Scotch Mist!! LOL! LOL! KK: I would even redecorate the garage if I didn’t care about bugs and snakes and things. Garages are just too creepy to spend any length of time in. SalGal: As is it is nothing more than a storage unit for The Ancient One’s miniature collection prop boxes for The Midlife Gals’ videos and one ton of fifty-years-worth of Christmas decorations. It would just be nice if we could PARK OUR CAR IN IT! KK: So GET UP from your computer!...look around...move just two pieces of heavy furniture and you'll end up with an entirely new room. Tomorrow I will tackle our closets after I have my nightly wine buzz going. Give stuff to Good Will and hang your paintings LOW because when people come to your house they always sit down. Move that CHI! SalGal: That’s right! Hang ‘em low and don’t collect stuffed animals or things made out of porcelain or plastic. Please keep your frog collection in the garage. KK AND SalGal: And don’t forget to check out our video on this subject at more.com. (join...it's free then head to Reinvent Yourself/Second Acts) We’re prettier in 2-D!! |
