Well Folks--we have arrived in Biloxi actually getting here around 2pm on Monday. We stopped to have brunch at CRACKER BARREL along the way. Randi really felt like having something at WAFFLE HOUSE but we couldn't find one and we were all getting hungry. Of course as soon as we had eaten we came across 4-5 WAFFLE HOUSE restaurants but...

As you know this was a planned trip for Sid Randi and me but SHE didn't know that we would be meeting her Mom here in MS a surprise that was part of her birthday present. When she saw her Mom here she was so excited to see her--the expression on her face was priceless.

After settling in our room Randi brought her stuff to her Mom's room and she will remain here with her Mom for the rest of the week. Of course we have had several meals with them since we arrived. Last night we went to a place in EDGEWATER MALL called BONEFISH--it was great.

Our waiter there was Dex and he was terrific. He played along with all of us and was very knowledgeable about the food served in that restaurant; he was very adept at taking and remembering our orders and kept our table free of empty plates saucers glasses whatever. We REALLY enjoyed the meal.

Of course Sid Randi and I took a ride to the Mall prior to our meal just to see how it looked. This was pretty early in the afternoon so we got a tiny snack-like meal at ARBY's there. I always thought that ARBY's was a burger place but they only served roast burgers and salads and some chicken--NO HAMBURGERS. Sid and I got salads; Randi got cheese sticks. We didn't want to eat to much since we knew we would be going to eat out later.

We walked all around the Mall a beautiful place well arranged clean--and everyone in every store/restaurant/mall that we've visited has been so friendly. One lady in the W/M that we visited recognized our accents as from--and she wouldn't let us tell her til she guess--and she was pretty close. When her first guess was wrong we told her that we were from further south--she immediately guess "Lockport"--now you have to know about Lockport to know that this was unreal. I don't think I've ever told anyone that we lived in Lockport and had them know where that was. SHE named it first! Turns out she had lived in Thibodaux so she was familiar with the area.

Sid has been swimming several times; me--no way! I don't put on bathing suits unless we are--and will continue to be--totally alone in the pool and that doesn't happen in many places so I haven't gone into the pool. I do sit at the tables though and watch. Randi of course has been in the pool many times. Oh and Bec has received text messages from Carly letting her know that they're having fun in Orlando; today they are visiting Busch Gardens and are having a grand time.

Tomorrow Sid and I will begin our homeward trek. As I mentioned Randi and Bec will remain here for the rest of the week and I know they'll have a blast--those two "wild and crazy" gals. LOL

On Saturday Sid and I will be taking my former teacher out to lunch. More on that later. On Monday I head back to Lockport to bring Mom to a doctor's appointment. More on that later too.

So have a great afternoon and evening. No quote today but I'll make up for it when I get back home.
