My Picture

Thanks to Sandie, ALL the pictures of the wedding have been printed and cut--thanks to her because she helped (read:  did mostly alone) get Sid's computer set up because I prefer the program on that computer.  As it turned out, neither computer had exactly the program I liked, but I managed to get them all printed.

Tomorrow--or whenever--I'll go through them again and try to adjust some of the shots.  The program "cropped" pictures differently than I did, so some heads were partially covered and I want that to be fixed.  Also, I have to make duplicates for some of the folks who I know would enjoy having copies.  Again, with Sandie's help, I made a CD for each of our kids who have computers--and one for Sandie and one for us.  That was extremely easy with my new computer.

Before we could complete the computer set up, we had to go to Radio Shack to purchase a cable for the printer.  Somehow, our original one was "misplaced" when we got the new computer.  It's all done now, though, and that's fantastic.

While we were out, Sandie suggested (yes, SHE suggested) that we might want to eat at Morel's again.  Of course, she twisted and twisted and twisted my arms until I said YES.  Right!  Anyway, we did that and brought a fried shrimp platter back for Sid.

Speaking of Sid, he worked on the carport again today, putting up the stripping on which the gable will be installed.  I know he finished the front side; not sure about the back yet; however, I know he'll do as much as he can tomorrow to finish up ASAP.

I would like to send a big CONGRATULATIONS to my nephew, Ben, Sandie's son.  He is considering entering the military and took the entrance test today.  He did extremely well, and we are all very proud of him.  He hasn't enlisted yet, but he will doing more research and speaking with the recruiter a little more before making his final decision.  As well as he did, I'm sure they'll really try to convince him to join their organization.  Whatever he does, we support him 100%.

Tomorrow, Sandie and I may head over to SAM's to pick up some ink cartridges and more paper for my photography chores (chores that I LOVE to do).  We also have a few other things to get while we're there, but our schedule hasn't been set just yet.  (I think I'll have to kidnap Sandie and keep her here.  She keeps me on my toes--and is always doing something.)  I am truly enjoying having her here with us.

Like I said, I am very tired and it's time to hit the hay.  Hope you had a great day and that tomorrow brings high anticipation of the weekend.

HEARTFELT BLESSING:  "Life is not the way it's supposed to be, it's the way it is.  The way you cope with it is what makes the difference."

NOTE:  Making right choices, seeing what happens in your life as a blessing--that makes life the way it's supposed to be.  Look for the blessings in your life!
