My Picture

Thanks to the article about my book that ran in the “Lowell Sun,” Lowell, Massachusetts in November, 2007, I was asked to be part of a 30 minute show about Lifelong Learning.  Lowell Telecommunications Corporation (LTC) is the local cable public access TV serving the Merrimack Valley area in Massachusetts, and taping takes place in the Media Room at Lowell High School.

“Young at Heart,” was the name of the program I appeared on, along with a professor from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell, who also teaches computers to older adults at a nearby senior center.  We had a fabulous time.

The show was hosted by Lucille Jerome, a licensed social worker from the senior center.  We discussed the importance of continuing to learn even as we age, the value and the joy that come from learning and how our lives can be enriched and enhanced thanks to our involvement in lifelong learning.

The program has been taped for future broadcast, and as of this date I have not yet seen it.  Can’t wait.

Till Next Time…
