I heard her voice calling. I heard love in the wind, When angels were falling Through time with no end.
I listened, I harkened, To my glorious muse. Enchanted, Enraptured By her joyous news.
"Have hope," she commanded. "Have faith, and with no doubt, "The secret," she whispered, "Is to love with a shout."
I harkened, I listened, To my mistress, my muse. Though saddened and maddened, I had nothing to lose.
I hear her voice calling, From Venus, from Mars, As angels are falling, As the rain from the stars.
