Recently I was contacted by the National Public Radio station WUML, 91.5 FM at the University of Massachusetts Lowell about appearing on their morning radio show, “Sunrise,” to discuss my new book, “Learning Later, Living Greater: The Secret for Making the Most of Your After-50 Years.” 

“Sunrise” is their morning drive-time, talk and informational show, a nice mixture of guests and music.  Although I was due to go to the radio station, located on the University campus, a nasty head cold kept me home.  I certainly did not want to infect the radio crew.

Thanks to technology, or in this case, MA Bell, the phone was our tool of choice, and the interview went off without a hitch.  It was a lively time with the hosts asking excellent questions.  It’s my hope that the listening public was given some food for thought, and perhaps found themselves inspired enough to pick up the book.
