First of all the best part about today has to be the weather.  Finally, you can go outside without freezing or slipping on ice.  That being said … what a perfect night for a St. Patrick's Day party at D4.  Spring and parties were definitely in the air because D4 was rockin.  We had 45 people, all the restaurant could accommodate.  It’s too bad we couldn’t take more people because we had a pretty long waiting list.  The bar is definitely authentic and I even had a beer !!  There were lots of fun people to talk to and it was hard to get people away to sit down.   Once we did sit down though the fun continued.  Dinner was upscale pub.  I ate chicken pot pie and it was great.  This was a great way to start the St. Patrick’s Day weekend … now let’s just hope the good weather continues!  For more go to www.singlegourmetchicago.com.
