Well what can I say … it is everything everyone talks about … great !! Our event at Farenheit was this past Sunday. We had an intimate group of about 30 which was perfect for this restaurant. We started off with cocktails at the bar, called Celsius. How’s that for sticking with a theme. This restaurant only opened in November, but feels very settled in already. I had a nice table. Interestingly, several of the people had already eaten at Farenheit, but wanted to experience it with the Single Gourmet. This was my first time and I was impressed. We started with a Roasted Beet Salad and my entrée choice was Braised Short Ribs. This was not something I would ordinarily order, but it was excellent and I am glad I tried something new. I had Cheesecake for dessert and that did not disappoint either. Even though it was Sunday night it was well worth the trip to St. Charles … for both the food and the company !!.
