Last night was our Valentine’s Party at the Renaissance Hotel in Schaumburg.  It was a fabulous event with over 125 singles.  First of all, the hotel itself is gorgeous and a perfect spot for a party.  The night kicked off with an hour- long cocktail reception that flew by because there were so many people.  It is fun how at every event you see familiar faces, but there are also so many new people to meet.  I had the salmon for dinner that was very good and the chocolate dessert was out of this world.  Even though everyone at my table (of about 10 people) was more excited about the dancing afterward.  The DJ started about 9 p.m or so and I for one danced until the end about 11-11:30.  Most people stayed late despite the bad weather.  On my way out several people were at the hotel bar for an “after party”.  I had a terrific time and I am looking already looking forward to the Valentine’s Party next year!  For more go to www.singlegourmetchicago.com.
