I know pets and their owners sometimes look alike.  Well my Chico and I both need to lose some weight. We are both “older” females.  Chico and I both have silver hair, we both waddle a little when we walk, and I think she waddles more but I’m not going to ask her what she thinks. Sometimes she will lies.

I know the last time I steps on a scale in a public place a little sign came out and it said, “One at a time please”. I thought that was bad enough but a visit to my doctor resulted in some comforting words. He told me for my weight I needed to be 6 ft tall. I told him I would grow taller. I haven’t had very success with that.

When I pick up Chico I definitely have an arm full. She weights 15 lbs.

The only good thing is I have the same measurements as Dolly Parton, Unfortunately not necessarily in the same order. My son calls Chico, “Pudgy Pudgy Princess” sometimes she actually answers to it. Chico is sort of wedge shaped. 

We both have soft tummies. We both like vanilla ice cream and a little milk before we go to bed. Neither of us is lactose intolerant

I have always heard, we are what we eat. It’s obvious that Chico and I eat very well, but there is one thing I can’t understand. is why we get fat from eating meat? Cows eat grass and grain and when we eat beef we get fat. Where does the fat come from?

Chico eats only Fancy Feast they don’t make low cal cat food. I don’t like diet food either I would rather have less of the real thing then to have a plate fuel of artificial food.

I think Chico and I are going to go on a diet together. We want to do a buddy system. I don’t want to hurt her self- esteem and this way she will think she is helping me. I don’t know if Waddle Watchers will take the two of us, we are also considering Kitty Craig. Once again there is the dilemma of real food vs. artificial flavored food. We both want real food.

While a vegetarian diet would be good I haven’t met a tofu I like and I think Chico would look at me like I was crazy if I put a salad in front of her. . We both like fish, when I go out for seafood I always bring her and my other cat’s broiled fish.

I treat all my cats the same its just that Chico owns me.

I want to add that when the pet food problems came up a few months ago. I made a point of making sure there was some foods other then pet food that my animals could and would eat. And I make sure if another crisis’s comes up whatever I end up feeding them won’t be a shock to them in any way. So I usually prepare a little extra of whatever I’m cooking and my pets get a little of it.

Now does anyone know where Chico and I  can get matching workout outfits?
